Friday Night Lights!

Kev has been playing flag football with his friends every Friday night. He has done really good and has been voted MVP by the team! It's a fun night out with his friends and the kids have fun being outside and watching their dad play.

Weston

I thought these pictures were kind of funny of Weston. I love how he fell asleep while he was in his jumper toy. I think the jumping must have worn him out, poor guy.

Just like Daddy!

All I can say is that Garrett is in love with his dad. He won't let Kev go anywhere without him right by his side. Kevin is so sweet about it too, he lets him help do everything! I love watching the two of them hang out together. I think his dad is always going to be his best friend. Kevin is so patient, I am trying to learn from him.

Weston and Julia

My friend Melody came over this week, It was so fun to see her cute baby, Julia. I don't get to see the two of them very often because Mel is busy teaching preschool. Anyway, we had a blast and I just had to show off her cute baby. Weston has a lot of cute girls to choose from! We are definately going to try to get around our busy schedules and hang out more. I think our kids would be such good friends.

Growing up!

We have been busy trying to potty train Garrett. It definately is a lot harder than I thought it would be. I know I have to be patient and it can take a long time, but he loves having his own little potty that plays music and makes flushing sounds. He also loves wearing his big boy "unnerwears."
(That's what our cousin Bowen called them when he was potty training, so we borrowed the name.) We love watching Garrett grow. Weston is now crawling and pulling himself up on the furniture. He tries to take little steps while he's holding tightly onto the couch. He gets really nervous, but before we know it he'll be walking. Everyday he is trying something new and we enjoy every second of it.

Relaxing at the beach!

We went to California about 3 weeks ago with our friends. I am slow at putting my pictures up. I wanted to put the pictures up anyway because I use this blog thing as my scrapbook, it's so nice. We went to the beach almost everyday. Weston actually did really well. I was worried about him being good but he had a blast. Kev loved messing around on the boogie board and relaxing by the water. I loved just hanging out and people watching.

Cali

We went to the Cheesecake Factory while we were in Cali and it was delicious. We also went to Sea World one day. I will be honest, I wasn't too excited about going but we went and had a blast. We were there all day and we stayed until the last show was over. I think everyone loved going, even Weston. Garrett didn't get to come with us. He stayed with Grandma and Grandpa for a week! I'm sure it felt like the longest week with a busy little 2 year old around. We really appreciated them watching G for us. He had a blast at their house. He loves Grandma and Grandpa! We missed him a lot but we really needed a nice break. We loved every minute of it.
