Garrett's 4th Birthday Bash

Garrett decided he wanted a pirate/swimming birthday party this year. He had such a blast with his cousins and friends! It was kind of a sad to see him turn a whole year older, but he is so much fun. He is growing way to fast, hopefully he won't be too cool for me this year!

Just thought you might need a good laugh

I was going through my pictures and I came across this one of G when he was five months old! That's right, I said FIVE months old! He was a chub and I loved it! He looks so serious.

I now have my life back.......

This has been quite a project!! I was so happy when Kev said he wanted to knock out the half wall and put in a rail. I don't think I realized what we were in for! Kev had the wall knocked down and the rail installed so fast. I think it took him half a day. Then we decided to stain it ourselves! Big mistake! We wanted it to match our cabinets in our kitchen so we found stain and started working on it. It wasn't too bad but we loaded the stain on! It turned out so dark and splotchy. It was so frustrating because we knew what it could look like and it wasn't looking good. We really didn't want to sand it but we did it anyway. NEVER again! It was the most time consuming, annoying, messy thing I've ever done! After 6 years of sanding we finished and tried staining it again and it worked! It looks great now and we're finally done! I'm so happy we have our lives back! We are horrible at taking before and after pictures. I wish you could have seen the wall that was there before.

the kind of bath everyone dreams of.........

There were so many bubbles G couldn't even breath! They loved it, but after a second they thought they were going to die! I think they're both kind of claustrophobic (if they weren't before the bath, they are now!) It looked relaxing to me!

I wish......

I just thought I would share some of my dream kitchens with everyone. I can't get enough of them. I doubt I'll ever have anything this fancy but it's always fun to dream. Maybe someone else out there will get one of these kitchens and invite me over to hang out in it. I think that's the closest I'll ever get! There's way too many options out there!

Shopping?

This is usually what happens when I go shopping with the boys and I love it because I feel like I can take my time. Don't they look comfy? I was jealous for a minute.

easily entertained

It seems like all we do is go all day long! I think we spend half of our day in the car driving back and forth. The only thing that keeps these two happy for a long time is their sunglasses! They love wearing them and I am glad something so small could keep them entertained so well!
